Medical Office Appointment Scheduler – From Home
I need a dedicated individual to answer all appointment calls for a specialty medical practice. This is a full time ‘work from home’ position. The receptionist will collect patient information and input into our web-based scheduling application.What will be provided:
Training for web-based scheduling application. Daily check-in via email. Support via phone, email and IM as necessary. List of common medical terms we use. Training on HIPAA (Health Information Portability) and Privacy Requirements.
Context that scheduler will need to obtain: The required fields to capture from callers will be: Name (Last, First), Reason for Calling, Email, Phone 1, Phone 2, Referring Provider, Preferred Date of Service, Preferred Place of Service, Any additional notes desired by the caller.
Specific Expertise that I am Seeking:
Excellent spoken English & superior customer service are non-negotiable.
Excellent telephone speaking voice, 60+wpm typed, Availability 8:30- am - 5:00 pm EST. Familiarity with Outlook or Google Calendar type application. Medical background preferred, but not required.
